Almost 1.4 billion people.
They are catching up to us technologically and may even surpass us militarily at some point in the future. They don't appear to have any standards or ethics when it comes to experimenting with new technology. I have a feeling were going to be seeing some game changing technological breakthroughs coming out of there in the next few decades.
It seems America is a waning empire and our population is becoming dumber and dumber due to decades of defunding the public school system.

I agree with @idontposthereanymore . And mind you I was one of the ones who said it's a good thing that Africa is getting all this money from China with no strings attached. But we see how that turned out. And to be clear, I still think it's a good thing in principle. But the lesson is: if you not about your money, you gonna get fukked over bad.

I'm more afraid of their technological prowess than their economic outreach. They have abolutely NO standards or ethics when it comes to implementing new technology. I can't imagine the things we'll see coming out of that country in the next few decades. I said in another thread they may actually develop some type of tech that can mitigate climate change however, their advancements may come at a huge price to the rest of the world

That's very true. But it would be naive to assume their quests for conquest will be any less bloody and horrific than that of the Europeans.
