Nostalgia aside. I found the controls of the N64 to be easier but overall, I prefer the DS version over the original. It seemed to smoothed out the missing edges the original didn't quite patch with the addition of mini games and two more characters.
Am I the only person who thinks Mario 64 DS >>>> N64.

never played the DS version. What do you mean by "they smoothed out the edges"?
The characters and the interface look more detailed in the DS version.

Of course the DS version will be better.. You got to play with Yoshi, Luigi and Wario.
