Am I the only Wu fan that didn't really like Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2?

I recently revisited this album again to see if my opinion on it had changed but I still think it was bland. It was neither here nor there to me. Some of the album had some ok moments but then other times it was just boring to me. Nothing about a lot of those songs really stood out to me. Am I the only one who thought this?

I wouldn't call the album wack just rather, boring. Anyone else agree?

It was a really good album..yet it wasn't anything special. I think more people wanted to like it more than they did..and it was fuelled by hype, just over that name. I feel like a lot of people were saying "yeah yeah, Cuban linx 2 is unreal!"..just for the sake of saying it, or because it was the right thing to say. When deep down, they knew they weren't feeling it half as much as they were saying it.

Great album, yet over-rated.

i would be disappointed with it if i was expecting a definite purple tape sequel (rza and the mentality of the brothers on board).

This project was shifted to another direction (production) with dre etc..
the project finally found a home and was delivered..The best wu tang project in ages, the story and sound of it was right on the money. It didn't bang like the OG or many other true wu tang albums.

Dope album but if it was called anything other than OB4CL2 it wouldn't have got half the praise/attention it did.

I wasn't crazy about it either.

I thought it was cool, but I was more happy that it was made, than I was about the actual music. "Surgical Gloves" was my shyt, but kinda the only track I ran back then.
