Exactly, children are only that young for a very short time so I like the idea of black families building memories and activities during that time.
After school and work everyone's tired, weekends are over crowded. I see nothing wrong with the odd day off for fun![]()

About once a month, typically on a nice day, we let our kids stay home from school. We usually take them out to the zoo or museum or to the park. Sometimes I just take them to ihop and the movies. Just to spend some time with them as a family because doing anything after school is impossible and on the weekends it's difficult. I would only do this this if they haven't missed a day for any reason and if they don't have any tests or shows or anything important that day. They are good smart kids. My daughter already meets the criteria to advance in grade and my son is in preschool and I teach him more at home anyways. Am I wrong for this? I was thinking about taking them to the park tomorrow and teaching them how to ride a dirt bike. I got the bike in January for my son and it's suppose to be like 60 tomorrow. They been fiendin to go riding.

Hey man......I never had a pops so I would cut and go to mets opening days by myself
I guess that's why family time is important to me
