Not sure whose the biggest waste of talent, Vince Carter or Amare Stoudemire.

I'd be more inclined to say Boris Diaw after that article that got posted on here.

atleast after Vince's athleticism and hairline left him, he did add more to his game.....Amerie outchea losing battles with fire extinguishers.

While the comparison is very silly, and there's nothing to make me believe Ama're would ever have the same impact on defense as Ben Wallace. But let's not forget that he had a very serious injury at age 22/23 and he was then one of the most dominant scorers in the game and constantly improving. He had good physicality and mobility that allowed him to be a good shot blocker, a decent rebounder (he often averaged 9 RPG with a peak at 9.6) and a presence inside. Sure, he lacked a lot of fundamentals but he had potential.

Offensively, there's no comparison to be made.

meh...Amare I think has had a great career. Not everybody can win championships.
