Even if you do leave the code, it’s not always a guarantee that the driver will use it anyways or follow instructions.

In my case, I believe the driver was running late and didn’t even bother trying to deliver the package because the one the next day came with no problems and same said instructions. Even the Amazon rep was dumbfounded by it

Some of those drivers be on some bullshyt not going to lie. They don't bother reading dropoff instructions sometime and won't even reattempt to delivery the package if the fukk up was on them.

If other jobs and professions have to do it in following instructions, then why shouldn’t delivery drivers be expected to do so as well? Not everyone lives in a house where the the doorstep is easily accessible you know that right?

Blame Amazon for their workload in not giving them the proper resources they need to succeed not the customer.

Blame their management for not hiring enough people and treating the skilled workers like shyt.

If we keeping it 100, Amazon delivery could be great if these managers weren't greedy as hell. Hire more people, give them a pay and benefit bump, guarantee vacation coverage and paid time off and you've pretty much guaranteed customer satisfaction because staff will be fueled by pride not fear of homelessness.
