Amazon Prime is worth $140 for a year, I don't order that much via shopping there (my wife on the other hand), but the service includes Prime Video and unlimited cloud storage for images with Amazon Photos.

I dislike how ubiquitous Amazon has become in everyone’s lives but I had harsh realities: before and definitely during the pandemic, I have done the “buy local” store hop only to see that none have what I want. I skate so there were little pieces of hardware I needed to get back to business. 3 local skate shops later(I actually traveled to them) and none were available. Amazon was able to ship next day. The only way the sho would have gotten them was to order from amazon and not their contracted suppliers. Bezos business is a plague on this planet but its also the most goddamn convenient. Stuff I never see anywhere else is a 2-day ship away.

They are only charging more because people will continue to pay. I wish consumers knew how powerful withholding their purchases were. I got a tear in my winter coat and went to the store to buy a new one, but instead of paying $110 the shyt was being sold for $220. I just asked my wife to sew the one I already have. Stop paying these high for nothing prices.
