She beat her Democratic challenger in the primary. Who was also a good candidate. I highly doubt a Republican will run against her in the general. And a Republican would be worse than her.

Most black people in politics bank on the black vote to survive it. They don’t have to have policies or practices showcasing actual support of the black community. They know black people will blindly vote for them simply because they are black. It’s why I don’t hype up any appointment of black politicians and judges just because they are black.
