AMD Announces "Absolutely Most Powerful Graphics Card in the World"
The Radeon Pro Duo has 16 teraflops of compute performance; Assassin's Creed VR experience coming.

Today during the Game Developers Conference, AMD announced the Radeon Pro Duo, which it's calling "the world's first content creation platform aimed squarely at the VR developer." This takes the form of a dual-GPU featuring two Fury X-class graphics cards running side by side, making it "absolutely the most powerful graphics card in the world by far." That's the description AMD marketing executive Chris Hook used to explain the new board, which is principally focused on virtual reality.

"Rather than just do another workstation card, we actually started about a year ago; we sampled VR developers [about what they'd like to see from a VR card," Hook told us in a recent interview.

He said AMD wondered, "What would happen if we took professional workstation-class drivers and gaming drivers and fuse them together to create a platform that would not only give you great scaling across pre-vis and post- and rendering applications... but would also be a great gaming platform?'"

They need to focus more on their mid tier cards and their drivers. Its a shame we have no 3rd option for video cards to make AMD step their game up. Their fall is the worst ive ever seen in technology :scust: went from being comparable (and sometimes even preferred over) to nVidia and Intel to getting washed by both by a large margin during the same time frame :scust: how do you get ran out of the graphic card AND processor market being the only other option, in the same period of time :dwillhuh: who the fukk handling their business :dwillhuh:

they promoting this shyt while their drivers are still always a step behind nvidia and no one even talks about their processors anymore even though they are the other option besides intel..

They better pray some bored billionaire doesnt start either a processor company or graphics card company and puts $300-500 million into it, it would run AMD out of business within the first few years :scust:

AMD now the K-Mart of the technology world :scust:

I stanned AMD for years but even I can't defend them anymore.

What sucks is I had a buy order in to buy the stock at $1.80 just before this recent run up to $2.72. Of course, the stock only went to $1.81 :stopitslime: so I missed out on like 5 grand. I fukking hate the market sometimes.

I recently bought a few shares of Ford Motor Company and been very happy with the performance. Sirius Radio has been all over the place for me. I'd like to get a few more tech stocks in my portfolio.

AMD constantly fluctuates between 1.8x and 2.4x you can make good money just riding the wave, breh. Sometimes it even gets into the 3.xx for a couple days. I'd say if you can buy it below $2.00 you should.

Good look man. I'm always looking for stock tips. I only recently started to get into it heavy.

AMD has gone to sh*t but their octo/hex-core processors have always been cheap alternatives when building whitebox virtualization labs.
