I mean why cheap out on your operational work force who actually fly the planes and provide passenger accommodations? Like you will have to pay them more just to keep them from going to competitors..

My next door neighbor is a long haul senior pilot for Delta airlines.. Mans pulling down 230k a year...

Gotta love American greed in this me me environment
Why do people say this? You think this is an American trait only? Hell look at the business news of last week, CEO of Nissan under investigation for scumbag practices, skipped town. His background? Brazilian-born French businessman of Lebanese ancestry, running a Japanese company.

To be fair, this has more to do with China trade tensions and Boeing's inability to build a plane that can fly than it has to do with any labor disputes. Airlines stocks are also extremely sensitive to fuel costs and the sector in general is volatile.

Most classic capitalist statement I've ever seen. Wow.

Why is it that so many of us immediately thought of the French Revolution the second we read that? I would never support that, I am 100% anti-violence....but can't help which associations happen to spring to mind.

No but America treats their workers like crap then makes them pay for healthcare. It’s a North American thing really. Just look at the amount of time off and vacation workers get. It’s criminal. It’s all about the dollar.
