Instead, it says,* an “informed, high-level” official of the U.S. government may determine that the targeted American* has been “recently” involved in “activities” posing a threat of a violent attack and “there is* no evidence suggesting that he has renounced or abandoned such activities.” The memo does not define “recently” or “activities.”

You don't find the legal precedent disturbing as fukk? Basically all it takes is a bureaucrat to put a greenlight on any citizen and they don't have to prove anything to a court of law. You don't know who our government leadership will be and how things will progress 10, 20, 50, 100, etc. years from now.
