Before you start saying this is obvious or I'm fear mongering I think the video is worth a watch.
The entire Republican party is now openly fascist. And there may come a time when you and I have to face off with some of them. Its not just a few fringe groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers that are talking of taking things to that level but the entire Republican party itself.
Talk of civil conflict was unheard of a decade ago but we now we have actual retired military generals and former presidents righting op-eds, issuing warnings that we're close to it. On top of all that the current DOJ is failing to hold those at the top responsible for the coup attempt and its looking like Republicans will succeed at completing their ongoing coup.
The best thing we can do is arm ourselves and organize within our local communities.
Join anti-fascist or pro-black gun clubs
Join a mutual aid group
Get involved in local politics
Keep yourself healthy and in shape
Consider updating you and your family's passport if things get too dangerous.
