The weird thing is that this could actually be good for the tribe. Government protections of them have been lacking, there isn't much concern for their welfare and instead the government has been focused on building up tourism in the region. Just a couple years ago it was discovered that wealthy Indians were being taken to one of the unreached tribes like it was a safari or something. This incident is gonna get a ton of publicity, and maybe that will lead to the government getting more serious about the protections.
Now the family is DEMANDING this tribe that killed him are
brought to justice?!!?
GTOFH!!!

Where'd you read that?
I just googled it and saw the exact opposite, they immediately forgave them and said nothing about bringing them to justice.
Edit: Found the statement you were referring to, it wasn't the family it was some guy who represents a Christian group. That's even worse.
