If you cannot obtain a scholarship, you should not be attending college in the first place.
People knew what they were getting into when taking out those loans. No-one made them take out those loans so I don't understand why they are always complaining over getting into debt they placed themselves into?
Did their high schools not have a course in finance?
Did their college-prep counselors not at least get them put on to scholarships?

There’s income-based driven repayment plans. That’s what I am doing. 22 and some change a month.

University was never a scam. Its just that undeserving people started wanting to get into university for the wrong reasons.
You attend college because you want to study a certain field you're passionate about or have some intellectual curiosity about, and can afford. Not because you want a job.

A lot of people, including myself, had no business in a university. I finished, though.
If you want to satiate your intellectual curiosity, go buy some books or watch some youtube videos and save 70,000 dollars in the process.

What other options are there besides not getting a college degree...
People with college degrees make more money in their lifetime than people without them...
Pay gap between college grads and everyone else at a record
shyt, you can't even leave the country and get a job overseas without a college degree...
The solution isn't..."Well don't go to college without a scholarship..."
The solution is questioning why USA is one of the richest countries in the world yet college tuition has shot up to 100s of percents...
College at least should be affordable like it was back in the 50s and 60s...
College right now should be free...
A college degree is one of the only things in this country that can propel you to a middle class life...
There is no other option besides like idk...going to trade to school and working on air conditions and oil rigs and shyt like that...and when you get old you can't do it anymore so you are fukked...
Or joining the military at 18 and being owned by the government...but at least you get food, paid and training...
