He's a fully functioning adult, who was an active duty air force officer, who became indoctrinated into the "boogaloo" movement. Military, active and former commit acts of violence, and mayhem, all the time, but this conspiracy is so wild, and so insane, it's hard to picture a grown adult participating in it. To think they are going to overthrow the government? It's really just racial hatred, anarchy kind of broadly distilled into a movement, but he killed two officers in less than 36 hours, and looks like someone who I wouldn't notice ordering a coffee in front of me.
