Seriously, when you actually take a long view of this dude - it just shows that the left needed an alternative platform.

I remember my parents listening to Air America (funny in hindsight) a lot growing up but once they folded I don't think anything ever really filled that void until the podcasts/YouTubers started blowing up. If there was I don't remember it.

Basically it sounds like he was raised by anti-ADOS immigrants that probably greatly benefitted from affirmative action and "POC" "disadvantage group" set asides.

TYT was the big fish in a small pond 10-15 years ago.

Since then, the market exploded with other options to get a progressive voice.

Then you add in all the other mediums that popped up like Twitch, podcasts, substack, etc.

TYT got their lunch taken and now basically Cenk + Ana do and say whatever they think will get them a check.
