Don't know if a thread was made on this. I definitely wanna grab me one in 2020. This isn’t emulator based either which I like. It plays the actual hardware

Analogue.

“Pocket is designed around a first-in-class 3.5”, 615 ppi, LCD. With a 1600x1440 resolution, Pocket has 10x the resolution of an original Game Boy. Yeah. We can hardly believe it, either. Pro level color accuracy, dynamic range, and brightness. There has never been a display this advanced in a video game system. Cartridge adapters required for Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Atari Lynx.”

They jacked up the price since the original pre orders.

The fact you can buy cartridges to play stuff other than Gameboy games is amazing though

$220 for the console by itself is rough.
Add the $100 dock and they’re charging more than a Nintendo switch to play retro cartridges handheld and on a big screen.
It’s a dope idea but the price doesn’t make sense to me personally.

Been scoping this but the grim reality that the accessories, along with the overkill amount of money in the retro scene, you might as well just cop one of those emulator retro handhelds.

This is the epitome of niche'.

it's not software. it's hardware.

it can do GB/C/A, Game Gear, and I think Turbografx, lynx.
Yeah I get that but why would I pay $200+ for this
I guess though after browsing the internet you want to make your profits fast since this is so niche.
I wonder what the age range for this product is

i can easily see the appeal, especially if you have mad GB, GG games.

demographics probably skews towards our age
