Jay was better than Nas at one point, and then Nas came back like Ali after the draft and lapped Hov while Hov became Larry Holmes. After Black Album I would have said Jay>>>Nas. But Jay got worse from that point and Nas came back with Life Is Good, Untitled. Jay is a better songwriter, Nas a better artist. If that makes sense. Jay need to realise though his rep is declining as we speak. He need to come back with a great record. But that aint happend since 03 so its unlikely.

why would you expect a great album out of a 45 year old man or however old jay is? he shouldve just stayed retired after the black album.

i dont see how nas' minor accomplishments are helping him that much. a couple solid albums in recent years that are already forgotten unless youre a big fan of his.
