was walking :dog: through the neighborhood today and two unleashed dogs charged him and made him freak out and get upset while the owner stood there and yelled for the dogs to come back (which they did not pay attention to at all). annoying. also a perfect example of why some people should not be dog owners.

I was ranting about this the other day on FB, was walking my pitbull and had a uncollared / unleashed 150 lb rottweiler run up on him , he wasn't aggressive but the owner couldn't get him to come back smh

I HATE people like that, cause if you put hands on their dogs then they want to act like YOU did something wrong :rudy:

Watching Dog Whisper and he is working with a dog that killed another dog. He was very aggressive. He took all the agressive out the dog and he is officially reformed. The dog's name is Leo.

Pit bull jumps 6-foot fence, attacks 9-year-old Birmingham boy

A 9-year-old Birmingham boy was hospitalized after he was attacked by a pit bull in Ensley this afternoon.

The victim and another child were playing in the their backyard in the 1500 block of 42nd Street about 4:30 p.m. when the dog jumped over a 6-foot fence and attacked the boy, said Birmingham police spokesman Lt. Sean Edwards.

The boy's mother heard her son's screams and tried to help him. Two other neighbors also came to his rescue. One of the neighbors shot the dog twice, and the other struck the dog with a bat, Edwards said.

The dog finally stopped attacking. The boy was taken to Children's of Alabama, where he is expected to survive. "Our officer spoke with the child at the hospital, and he appears to be doing fine,'' Edwards said.

The dog was still alive when taken from the scene by animal control officers. The owner of the dog has not yet been located. The investigation is ongoing.
