Anderson Silva suspended again due to potential USADA doping violation

Just minutes ago, the UFC dropped a bombshell statement: Anderson Silva has been flagged for another potential doping violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected this past October 26, 2017. Silva isn’t even three years out from his last test failures which included several different substances over the course of two sample collections by the Nevada Athletic Commission:

Jan 9, 2015: two anabolic androgenic steroids in an out-of-competition test - drostanolone and androstane

Jan 31st, 2015: drostanolone (again) on his in-competition test, as well as temazepam and oxazepam, which are both benzodiazepines and also banned in-competition

The UFC’s statement is as follows:

The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Anderson Silva of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected on October 26, 2017. As a result, Silva has been provisionally suspended by USADA. Due to the proximity of Silva’s upcoming scheduled bout at UFC Fight Night, Shanghai, China on November 25, 2017 against Kelvin Gastelum, Silva has been removed from the card and UFC is currently seeking a replacement.

To each his/her own but I think Silva still has alot of fight left in him. He won that Bisping fight imo
