Is Thompson really good on defense tho? I haven't seen it. I mean, he's a great rebounder especially on the offensive end. I would actually like to see his rebounds per 36.

This year he's been better on defense than Varejao, Anderson was pretty shytty on the defensive end. He couldn't really defend the PnR like he used to, can't block shots and was late on rotations, Thomspon does all of those things better than Varejao this year.

I'm not a fan of Thompson but he doesn't suck, he's just not as good as you'd expect him to be for a guy that's supposed to be a defensive big.

Offensive rebounding is a good skill to have, the problem with him is he's got zero offense and for someone that's supposed to be defensive he isn't a great shotblocker and he's not a great team defender. He's a solid big to have off the bench if he's making like 6-7 million, but they gotta move him if he demands 10-12 million.
