Gimme the deets...
I can't watch the video
he was sayin' that the older one (an mc or rapper) gets, the further they get away from bein' "hip" and how hip hop is always changin' with new "slang", "rhythm" and "patterns" and that "once you start intimatin'" as an older mc, that people take notice and it "becomes embrassin'". he feels like he wouldn't have much to offer after a certain point, he compares it to bein' a boxer who ages after a while
also, he mentions he's seen his heroes not be as "cool" and he goes on to say "it's not that their not as good as they were when they first started it's just the world progressed. the world actually took them in and learned everythin' their doin' and spit it back out in a whole new way" he goes on to say as long as it's in an mcs or rappers' heart to still rap, keep on keepin' (he name checks jay, eminem, kanye)
he says that he got into hip hop as youngster and wantin' to "fukk shyt up" and as a fan of "wantin' to see people fukk shyt" (in hip hop) he wants to see the youth do it because he says unless you (the audience) wanna hear him talk about "parentin', how it is with his 16 year old son and not wantin' prostate exams" he wonders what's he even talkin' bout
it's a very great listen and watch
