We're on the blood path now
Pretty much. But you wouldn't be able to tell with how great some of his guest verses have been.I think he has lost the feel the funk ........hard to describe. If u have a natural talent you can understand. If u just lose the feel u simply feel lost and strange whhen trying to recreate theagic and thats whats happened to him.
Yeah, I've never heard bug Boi say anything bad about DreIt makes me respect Big so much more because he still stands by Dre. That's loyalty like a mufukka. He's a better man thatn 99.9% of cats for that.
Did you go?that Outkast show back in June thodid he feel like a sellout when got that check from us fans going out to see his fakkit ass

How many albums does he owe the label? The only reason he even did the tour was out of respect for Big. That's it.
Get over it.
And then the label won't even let Dre get on a song with Big and Vice Versa...they can only produce for each other. shyt sucks.
I guess the curtain is closed......
Great pointHe was already teetering on the edge of checking out a long time ago and this label business was what pushed him off. I don't really have an issue with his candid take on his rap career, it's whatever at this point. Dre's beyond the point of recapturing any love he once had for the game, he just grew out of it and like it's been said in here he 'thinks too much', and while I don't agree there is such a thing - it's half the reason why he was such a great writer.

What's up with the Idlewild hate?yea, I thought that was petty. its not like they ended on some godly high note, Idlewild was wack as shyt. if anything I thought strong new material would help move on from that era, but that's obviously not happening
bytch you know how many hands were/are in the Beats cookie jar before Apple bought it. fukk outta here thinking that Dre/Jimmy aren't just the faces of it when Luke Wood/Ian Rogers are/were the ones running the company. shyt, Dre/Jimmy aren't even listed as inventors on any Beats patents. They put up some $ for the company as did a few other investors. Those two have their roles. Dre would be the face of it in a Jordan-like role and Jimmy would use Interscope artists/music to promote and use as leverage in the business. How hard is that to understand.
And at this point who the fukk wants to hear any Dr. Dre music that wasn't made in the 90s.

Great point breh. IThe most interesting thing about this thread is that you can see how fickle rap fans are.
Here's a guy who at this stage of his life is basically the antithesis of Busta Rhymes, who we're all pretty much annoyed with and want to go away. Busta Rhymes won't let it go, he's everywhere trying to stay relevant damn near to to point where he's performing Coco with O.T. Genesis and damn near dying. There was a 17 page thread calling himand telling him to give it up meanwhile the guy who says he doesn't want to be THAT old man in the club, performing songs he did when he was 18, staying stuck in his youth, continuing to rap full time into his 40s is criticized.
Weird.
For anyone who's in their late 20s, 30s or 40s. Think of shyt you did when you were 16-17......For Dre that was Rap.....it just so happened to turn into his career........At some point you just want to do other things in life, not the same shyt you were on in your teens.
when you said Busta almost died
did he feel like a sellout when got that check from us fans going out to see his fakkit ass
