Dumb nikkas say things like that because Lavine's game is more aesthetically pleasing. He's the more fluid athlete and his J is gorgeous. Plus the ups. But Wiggins is bigger, stronger (though still has room to get stronger) and is the better creator already. The J is looking nice early on too. Personally I think both could be awesome. Lavine can be what JR Smith was supposed to be, a great shooter who can also attack the rim with his athleticism and not the Reddikk clone JR's kind of become.
