People talking about Angel, but what if I told you there was a player who was the 4th pick in the draft (Angel was 7th btw) who averaged 10, 5 and 1 on 44% shooting as a rookie, then her sophomore year, she averaged 9, 5 and 1 on 41%? After two years the Coli would say she’s a bust who regressed. Her team managed to stick with her for 9 more seasons (until she decided to leave). In that time, she showed steady improvement each year until she suffered an injury. After the injury, she reinvented her game and became a triple double threat. During her career, she took a team to the Finals, became a 5x all star, and her career FG% is up to 49%. She currently has her new team atop the WNBA in standings. That player is Alyssa Thomas.
