Reality of the game is that most people don't last long regardless of their work ethic. Angel got a gang of injuries coming into the league, everything may unravel by her 5th/6th year. Its best for the player to live out their life without regrets. Angel wants to do things this way so let her do her thing while she still can.

I agree with you, if it wasn’t the wnba. It’s a niche market that’s literally losing money EVERY year it’s been around. Interest in her or any of them will likely be done in 2 years if that. Why would she not capitalize when she’s at her most popular? If the wnba grows to be the nba then you’re right. But they can’t even turn a profit.

You’re talking about shacarri when she did everything you said don’t and she’s doing amazing. Being hated at some point is what comes with social media, you ride the wave.
