After Halloween 2018 they wanted to release one every other year. Kills was supposed to be released in 2020 but the pandemic happened. I think every other year is a descent pace when you know your putting out the movies. The downside is it wasn't a cohesive trilogy but you'll realize that when you watch Ends.
