I'm struggling to understand why black folk don't understand that we are immigrants too. There's been a big myth that it's just a brown issue and it's not. It's black and brown.

The fact that Angela is conflating two issues and completely --and purposefully-- misinterpreting how black folk came here in the 1st place is just . And of course, the TBC don't challenge her on that in anyway whatsoever.

Angela Rye believes that immigration shouldn't be a wedge issue between black and brown people. She hasn't really explained what exactly the wedge issue is. Is it the Wall? Border security? Deportation? Job security? Employment opportunity? Amnesty? Citizenship?

She says that Dems and GOP share responsibility for the shutdown. How? Why? This is all on Trump. Trump announced that he's taking all the blame and it's not on the Dems.

Rye is falling off.

Technically my dad was an immigrant when he came over from the Caribbean to go to flight school.

My mom is from here.
