I'm struggling to understand why black folk don't understand that we are immigrants too. There's been a big myth that it's just a brown issue and it's not. It's black and brown.

The fact that Angela is conflating two issues and completely --and purposefully-- misinterpreting how black folk came here in the 1st place is just :scust:. And of course, the TBC don't challenge her on that in anyway whatsoever.

Angela Rye believes that immigration shouldn't be a wedge issue between black and brown people. She hasn't really explained what exactly the wedge issue is. Is it the Wall? Border security? Deportation? Job security? Employment opportunity? Amnesty? Citizenship?

She says that Dems and GOP share responsibility for the shutdown. How? Why? This is all on Trump. Trump announced that he's taking all the blame and it's not on the Dems.

Rye is falling off. :stopitslime:

EDIT: NBAs = Native Black Americans aka. African Americans aka. AADOS

She's right

There are black immigrants from across the diaspora in the US that are citizens, legal immigrants, and undocumented immigrants.

I'm a US citizen, I'm also Jamaican, and most importantly I'm black. I am all those things simultaneously.

I don't know what the f_ck this POS bimbo is talking about because if African Americans knew their true history, they'll know our bloodline is old as this damn country.

Just like racist conservatives, Neo-Liberals love pushing Black people like Angela Rye to the forefront for their own agenda.

I'm sick of people expecting us AADOS to support everything simply because of what we are.

She should be quiet and look pretty. She's just as bad as White people calling our ancestors "workers."

Technically my dad was an immigrant when he came over from the Caribbean to go to flight school.

My mom is from here. :yeshrug:

I pretty much identify as AA though.
