Anger Management in a Stressful Environment?

How do you do it? The only way i can calm down is busting a nut.. but that isn't feasible in the office

Mindfulness doesn't work..move my awareness too my feet :mjlol:

don't recommend Meditation it doesn't work in a stressful environment.

Drugs are the only option? :mjcry:

This might sound juvenile, but coloring is stress relieving as hell for me. I work in a school with behavioral students, it's incredibly stressful, and I've started coloring as a means to stay sane

coloring? do you do it at home or at the school?

Listening to music.
I'll put on a house mix and zone out til the end of the day.
In fact, im the type that can just put my headphones on and the whole world shuts off.

Experience emotions, feel emotions and let them happens. Emotions are like clouds they come and go. Take control of the emotion don't let the emotion control of you. As men, we have the advantage of being logical about our decision making.

Introspect. Practice Neutrality. Realize "Why am I getting worked up about this?" "Why is this affecting me" "How is this affecting me?" "Why do I even give a fukk?"

Drink chamomile tea. Take a magnesium supplement. Magnesium is known to calm the nerves. Calcium is known to irritate the nerves.

Channel your energy into more productive tasks. Go on a jog around your neighborhood. Take a run. Distract you mind.

Me personally, I'm emotionally detached. In my past, I had bunch of men and women trying to get to emotionally react. I don't cause its futile.

Meditate.

  • Close your eyes, start breathing through your mouth. Count to 10 five times while doing so , but breath in during odd numbers and out during even numbers.


  • then repeat the process 5 more times with your mouth closed.


  • Finally open your eyes with your mouth still closed and repeat the breathing in and out for one last rep of 5.


Afterwards you should be chill enough to return to life. This whole thing takes only 5-7 minutes.
