Ether is better than Super Ugly, no question about it....As a 14 year old at the time when this was going on, I was riding for Nas and thought Ether was the better diss....as an adult, especially since hindsight is 20/20, Ether was almost a pyrrhic victory - he knocked Muhammad Ali down but Jay got back up and went on to be an even bigger success....Also, takeover was just one verse that Nas needed a whole 3 verse song to reply to and it wasn't even filled with facts, it was the equivalent of schoolyard disses (with some great punchlines tho) while Takeover was echoing exactly what every hiphop head was saying about Nas at the time...at 29 years old, i kind of have them neck and neck.....the thing ppl forget it is, that radio battle of jams was between Ether and Super Ugly, not Ether and Takeover, so of course Ether won....I will give it to Nas stans (begrudgingly) , Jay was HURT and at the time, it looked like he lost....but now, Nas is not even close to Jay's level
