They're always on some cant we all get along type shyt

I remember Ed said some All Lives Matter shyt to the only Ishval dude in the military in Full Metal Brothrthood

And even now, in Attack on Titan with the current arc

AoT, I wonder how it'd be different if a Black person wrote it

One Piece did a pretty good job with the subject. Showed how years of oppression affects a group of people.

The entire Fishman Island arc was basically about racism. Fisher Tiger and Queen Otohime were pretty blatant parallels for X and King.

Al was more of a real "one", even if he was more Ed's sidekick. He understood the ishavalns cuz he wasn't treated right for his appearance, he even eventually bonded with Scar and saw things from his perspective.

Japan was an imperialist nation so you should expect their views to align more with cacs than us.
A clear example of this is Itachi who's described as a hero for killing his entire clan (including kids) for the "sake of the village". We all see him as a c00n.
But to an imperialist culture, he did what's best for the empire (or village in that context).
(Note: Remember that the Uchihas were sidelined, purged from the government except for police, not trusted at all, and forced to live on the outskirts of the city. They had rightful rage.)

Itachi was definitely a c00n

Fukked up shyt is every other Itachi barely got a focus as Uchiha

Obitos role was Kakashis best friend
