The year is 2030. Anime has become fully mainstream.

Non-anime watchers, banished to the Midwest and freezing winters, are under government surveillance.:mjcry:

Theyre required to watch 30 minutes of anime in exchange for access to 24 hours of internet and phone service. It pains them that theyre in the swagless minority now,

"But anime is for lames!!" they yell. :damn:

Meanwhile anime watchers get to live in the south and get a monthly stipend :blessed:

I like OG anime shows and some new ones here and there
but I find it hella weird how some fans be taking it way too far like dressing up as the characters, decorating their rooms and social media profiles with anime etc

even in Japan, they look down on that cultish behavior

Yeah I like anime too but all that extra shyt is weird to me… this one IG thot I follow all of a sudden turned into some super anime fan and it was a jarring turn off. :picard:
