Problem with your scenarios is that in reality, you wouldn't have a choice on how your kids turn out.

Should love either child conditionally...

If I had a gay son, whether pro-Black or not, he need to keep his bedroom business to himself.

If I had a daughter like the one you described, she can choose to not deal with me, but if that is the route she wants to take, then I guess she should be fine with being left out of my will. I don't compromise with terrorists! Can't disrespect me and expect a legacy windfall...
