I respect everybody's opinion on the whole D-Bry thing, but for me the bottom line is that wrestling is entertainment and it's not supposed to be something you get legit mad over. The mentality of continuing to watch something that stresses you out is something I can't relate to.
Debating pros and cons of storylines is cool and we do a good job of that here, but if you feel yourself getting to the point of being mad about it, it's probably time to either step back or change your outlook. If I'm not entertained by wrestling, or a movie, or a TV show, or anything else, it's not that difficult for me to cut my losses and step away from it.
The D-Bry storyline was definitely mishandled along the way, and WWE has continuously underestimated D-Bry's drawing power, but I do believe they've caught on now and they're just stringing the fans along to create controversy. They're prolonging the storyline. Too far? Probably, but we might as well enjoy the ride. The good guy eventually wins in wrestling, so why not watch where it goes and make the best of it?
WWE got people talking, ratings aren't suffering, so there's no real incentive for them to immediately give D-Bry the belt. They see value in keeping it going, and dudes in here are proving them right. We're all still watching.
And yeah, I do find it interesting that people who watch free streams are acting like they're being ripped off. To me it's not much different from walking into a store, stealing a shirt, and then getting mad at the store when you try it on at home and realize it doesn't fit.
