republicans have been doing this for a long time.These kids are being coached by their parents and following a very successful formula that we've seen deployed in other schools.
i remember taking a social studies class in middle school and our teacher gave an accurate description of the difference between the democratic and republican parties. little white girl with republican parents filed a complaint claiming the teacher was biased and trying to make republicans look bad.

I thought his "a nation under our feet" arc was cool. Also really enjoyed "rise of the black panther" as modern retelling of his origin.

I already knew what time it was. I'd be tempted to say 'this is like trying to teach about the holocaust in a small German town' but Germans actually had the sense to admit what they did and not shy away from it.
The average white American is extremely insecure, weak willed and lazy. Then again what do you expect from people who were so lazy they wanted slaves to do the work they didn't want to, so insecure that they targeted the male slaves and so stupid that they sent their own children to die by the thousands in a civil war so they could live like literal toddlers never having to lift a finger to do any actual work.
Sherman didn't go hard enough. And Lincoln fukked up by having a p*ssy as his vice president. Reconstruction was a failure, and in another world they'd have gotten that east Germany treatment. Occupy them, execute the traitors, stay long enough that at least 2 generations of white people grow up knowing how badly they fukked up.
