This really bothers me. 99% of these guys today have to dance and I can't figure out why. Cedric Alexander and early Big E were the exceptions, not the rule and even then we're very early in Cedric's career so he may be cutting a rug before soon. For every one Apollo or Cedric, there are five No Way Jose's, Richard Swann's, or R Truths. It's so outdated and goofy.

 Vince McMahon is a Moth3rfukk1ing trip....lol.

Cripple H is presented as the Cerebal Assassin(a gimmick as if he's smarter than everyone else)..Seth has long hair and gymnast ways yet he's gonna burn the WWE to the ground for Cripple H turning on him and not keeping him the chosen one....Lesnar is a beast and an asskicker galore...Charlotte wins all singles matches on PPVS despite Sasha and Becky Being 20x more accepted than she is...

New Day? Dancing comedians..shuck and jive personified..R truth is presented as a memory losing clown who does horrible rap remixes...Henry talks tough and gets his ASS KICKED BELL TO BELL by Lesnar or Rusev...Alicia Fox is a crazy bytch who thinks she's tough but gets schooled all the time...Naomi is dancing for relevance...Swan is another dancing goofball

It's just funny how those parallels are in comparison to certain talent.

I think the E is more inclusive towards Blacks than ever before. :manny:

New Day, nobody views them as "acting Black".

R-Truth is just a goofball character, and he's a rapper in real life, so....?

Naomi IS/WAS a dancer in real life, so.....?

Look at all the host, commentators, ring announcers, etc all have a Black person. Hispanics and Asians have little to no representation on that front in WWE.

This will always be a hotly-debated thing...

One reason being because everyone automatically assumes that these wrestlers are being forced against their will to do these 'stereotypical' gimmicks, even if in many cases, these were gimmicks they created themselves or were born out of their real personalities. Junk Yard Dog came up with all his shyt, Kamala owns his gimmick and used it everywhere he went, R-Truth raps and dances in real life, Big E is a joker who spent two years in WWE being everything but that and not getting over, etc...

On the other hand, there's definitely been some shytty racially-descript gimmicks... the one that sticks out most for me is when Tony Atlas was doing Saba Simba cause it was so out of nowhere and doomed to fail. Cryme Tyme, Men on a Mission, and most other hip-hop related ones have always been outdated and mostly lame...

I think for the most part, it's incorrect to assume all these dudes are kicking and screaming and begging to be in "serious", non-descript gimmicks tho'. Wrestling in general plays on stereotypes of all kinds- I didn't get any more offended by Charles Wright being a pimp as I did by Tito Santana becoming a matador :manny:

Right. Ill also add that Rich Swann was dancing to Lionel Richie on the indies for years. Like @DANJ! Mentioned some are glaring and insulting like Saba Simba and Vince does do a lot of racist shyt to black wrestlers but not EVERYTHING falls under that.

Booker shouldnt have jobbed at WM 19 though

R truth is presented as a joke..ever since the last heel turn against Cena.

New Day plays the clown gimmick well I suppose if u like that kind of thing. But compared to Stroman is protected or how Roman was kept undefeated for a year? Lol.

There's no reason a black man shouldn't be WWE or Universal champ in the next year. I think Big E is a prime candidate, he has the charisma and in ring talent to do it heel or face but I'd prefer face. I don't recall there being a face world champ in the 'E since Lashley was the ECW Champion.

WWE reflects America's attitudes to race tbh... it doesn't exist in isolation.

Western societies as a whole narrow horizons for almost all races except whites - Blacks, especially in America are invisible unless they're street-cool, high-energy, "athletic" (word to every mention of Naomi by a commentator EVER) and in some way connected to crime, music or both.

Xavier Woods could go a long way to shifting the window in the WWE tbh... they've got to let him cook with that nerdy, elitist intelligencia persona when New Day are finished.

Let's be fukkin real here.

None of these black wrestlers besides Xavier Woods is compelling.

They are all as bland as Cesaro

They need to shuck and jive to even have somewhat of a character
