I can't respect this. You knew what you was signing up for. That's selfish of her

Nobody should have to get sick trying to help the sick. The government can't supply them with the things they need, why would they risk they life for nothing???

If a doctor quit that's one thing, they took an oath and shyt. But nurses are helpers.. if she wants to quit that's Gucci with me

Not really if a Cna quits that is understandable but if you are a nurse you signed up same as doctors

There's no reason why this thread shouldn't be filled with these types of comments
But she worked around people exposed to the Rona anyway :gucci:
dont have a problem with her quitting, but doing it on social media ensures she never gets another job as a nurse.
Fukked up situation :francis:

Shouldve waited to get fired though.
:camby: You knew the risks. And then she broadcast it. Good look getting another job
I won’t bash her but I am torn :patrice:

On one hand when you become a nurse this is kind of what you sign up for, on the other hand i understand.
Hazards of the job :yeshrug:
You're a nurse, did you really think you would never have to deal with treating patients with contagious conditions? What if all healthcare workers with kids, spouses with pre-existing health conditions or elderly parents just decided to stop handling this issue???
When you sign up to be a nurse or some type of healthcare provider you know you can be exposed to all kinds of stuff. I'm a respiratory therapist and I've already treated some covid patients or potential patients. It comes with the terrority. If she felt uncomfortable taking care of a patient then cool but putting that shyt on social media is BS and is some clout chasing nonsense. :camby:
She's got no business being a nurse then... Imagine if all doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc... thought like her... Everyone WOULD actually end up dying from this shyt. Don't sign up to be in healthcare, then run when shyt gets tough
I understand and empathize with her and she has the RIGHT to quit. Her boss was more than likely a white woman, who are the WORST people to work for.

Just DO NOT DO IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA. We gotta get away from documenting our entire lives for the “Gram”
She’s trying to be viral like that other black nurse but this isn’t it. Nurses get celebrated for going through the trenches not hiding from it
Sorry she is an idiot.

I am pretty sure there aren't too many nurses who signed up to treat highly contagious patients without PPE.

Ask yourself would police officers sign up without guns and ammunition? Why would you expect nurses to work without proper protection?

This thread should be 30 pages of nothing but comments like these

I'm not going to totally shyt on her but this is what she signed up for when she decided ti be a nurse :dahell:
And we got every right to tell her to never Nurse anyone again.
The crazy thing is nurses have a right to refuse an assignment (esp. if your safety is at risk)....now if they were forcing her AFTER she refused, then I would understand her quitting. But she could have easily said she wasn't feeling well and went home sick (I know people who do that when they get a terrible assignment).

This might be for clout.
Only dumb thing she did was making a clip.

Should could have easily resigned then took up a nice cushy 9 to 5 office job at a local public health department doing administration work away from patients.
Might as well create that only fans now bytch, you played yourself.
:mjlol:

had to make a drama movie scene, just quit :francis:
This is akin to a soldier deserting his regiment after a superior tells him the enemy is approaching and to strap up. Did she think her career as a nurse would solely consist of checking temperatures and changing sheets? :francis:
How would we feel about a firefighter quitting because there were too many fires? :jbhmm:
How would we feel if a police officer quit because there were too many murders? :jbhmm:
How would we feel about a soldier quitting because there were too many deaths on the battlefield? :jbhmm:

I feel like if you go into those fields, you are expecting to be put in dangerous positions :jbhmm:

I wouldn't want the Rona either though :patrice:
Quit your Fire Fighting career because they said you had to run in burning buildings brehs:unimpressed:
