Woman says Katt Williams assaulted her after she said that Kevin Hart is funnier

Comedian Katt Williams’ temper allegedly got the best of him after he was told he couldn’t measure up to a famously small rival.
A woman who claims to have been assaulted by the oft-arrested entertainer in Atlanta on Feb. 28 says her assertion that “Kevin Hart is funnier anyway” led to a violent punchline.
“The next thing I know he's charging at me. He actually hit me right here in my left temple (and) tackled me to the ground,” the woman named Selena told WSB-TV.
She claims that she and her friends at a bachelorette party were taking pictures with Williams before the violent outburst, adding that his entourage blocked them in when they tried to get in a car and drive away.
The comedian also allegedly took out a gun and pointed it at their car while laughing.

Selena and her friends, some of whom say their phones were stolen, say that the misdemeanor battery and theft charges the comedian is now facing is not tough enough.
They are now asking prosecutors to bring felony charges against Williams.
His team claims that the photo-taking situation got out of control when the group of women started harassing him, taking pictures without his consent and snatched a chain from his neck, according to the Atlanta Constitution-Journal.

The 5-foot-5 star's supposed short fuse concerning Hart likely stems from his feud with the 5-foot-4 “Ride Along 2” star, who he has called a “puppet” and challenged to a $5 million comedy battle in his home city of Philadelphia.
Several days after the photo dust up, Williams told Atlanta radio station V-103 that he wanted to apologize to Hart and called him the “reigning King of Comedy.”
The Atlanta incident was the first of three that have led to the same number of arrests for Williams in the last month.
A day later he was arrested for punching a pool supply store clerk who he claims had said the n-word.
Williams was also accused of aggravated battery last week after allegedly telling a woman to attack a bodyguard who supposedly refused to follow his orders to do something criminal.
He was held in Hall County for the latter two incidents, before being transferred to Fulton County earlier this week to be booked for the first.
