This is another long ass video, but damn I watched the whole thing last night. Really eye opening to hear a white person frankly saying "Yeah, we're racist and here's how we maintain our white supremacist state." The speech is directed at white liberals. I used to always call it "liberal racism" but its really just racism with people using a different tactic to maintain their power base.

We all know this especially if you're black in a professional corporate work environment. Something important that this video helped me articulate is the "power struggle" happening in the Democratic party. We're now a majority brown party. But I noticed how ferociously women are being pushed to teh forefront. Why? Because by conflating white women with "minority" it allows the same white power base to maintain their dominance in teh party. They'll just swap white women for white men, then pretend that it's progress when they're just as likely to be racism.
The only real solution is to make the party look like it's membership.
