Are straight people continuing to ask for this, or are there THAT many gay people, or people who want to see gay people?

The vast majority of people don't care about this shyt. But the way the internet and twitter works is all you need is a large vocal minority on something and it can go viral and seem like a thing

Stuff like this just goes to show you how far Film/TV has changed over the past 2 decades. We used to have well written characters who just happened to be gay, now they make that the focal point. No backstory, no identity..just gay. It's lazy

I also hate it how adding a gay character is supposed to be something new or barrier breaking around these times. Homophobia isnt as serious today like it was 15+ years ago. There were shows that did show a good light towards homosexuals but still had well written characters and stories.
