I just adopted my moms 94 Acura Legend and I'm bout to make it my personal project. One of my favorite cars to drive ever, shyt is just too smooth for words. Anyways, I was wondering if Bose still sells the OEM speakers cuz I'm gonna put in a new amp and renew the speakers.

Aside from that, all she needs is a transmission solenoid, ignition coil/s.plugs(complete tune up), and 4 new tires.

After that, I'm prolly gonna stick some new factory rims on there, cold air intake, performance fuel pump/injector, and maybe a whole new exhaust system or just the muffler and cat.converter. But yeah, any of yall ever work on one of these sexy beasts before?

you're going to need a tune if your going to do all that to see the benefits. Plus you should try searching your local junkyards if your stuck on the oem bose system. Although if you put new amp on old speakers like that they are going to be done anyway:why:

Yeah, my first step is to get the car running again. I'm gonna go ahead and do a complete tune up since I wanna put performance parts in the car. I'm going for Engine performance and fuel efficiency more than anything else so I figure a top of the line cold air intake, K&N air filter, and a better exhaust system will be a good start.

As for the Bose, I absolutely love the sound but the amp got blown awhile back so only the fronts work. So if I were to put a 400w amp inside that means I'ma have to just change all the speakers? :why:

tbh get you a nice component set. I would look at 2 pair of these Polk Audio DXi6500 6-1/2" component speaker system at Crutchfield.com

powered by Rockford Fosgate Prime R250-4 4-channel car amplifier — 40 watts RMS x 4 at Crutchfield.com

Already changed two engines in this joint off that head gasket bullshyt. So now it's at 111,920 as oppose to 183,920. smh@coupes > sedans. :snooze: The sedan give it more of a big body feel, it's like ridin a bubble or caddy without drawing all the police attention. :wow:
