Any anybody here ever been to Cuba?

This is especially aimed my Canadian brothers. What is the vibe there like and are brother received their? Is how is different than the rest of the Spanish speaking Caribbean?

If you're lightskinned the locals will mistake you for Cuban and will speak Spanish to you. If you go out in the city there's going to be a lot of beggars, especially depending on how you dress. When I went with my brother we dressed a bit too fly for downtown Havana, while walking around the rundown city.

Other than that, if you're on a resort you'll just be around a lot of white people. Don't be surprised if you the only nikka there surrounded by white tourists and Cuban resort staff who look just like you.

Now the people, they were all beautiful, especially the resort staff. Even the older women were fine as fukk.

I mostly see them in the inner city, as resort staff they are largely out of sight most of the time. You shouuld get your tour guide to schedule a trip to Havana, gives you real perspective.

not really out of sight the hotel i stayed at teh manager was black, it has alot to do with speaking english fluently in the resort industry, Why most of the taxi drivers and front line hotel workers are privileged white skin cubans.

The tour from hotels to havana are a rip off

use cuban connection, or talk to security at th hotel they can hook you up with your own personal driver for the day or they wwill do it for extra money.

I did the hotel one because it was free because of overbooking so they were offering it for free to empty up some rooms, and its so blah, visit some old fort for like two hours, drive around havana bus parked you get a hour to walk around , then back to the bus, then you go to the hotel, pretty late. I went to the hotel at like 7pm , ate dinner then headed out on my lonesome, the safety of havana , ended up at some club which was dope , then the next day you check out go back to havana eat lunch, get like 3 hours to walk around old havana then back to the hotel

Barcelo Premium, or something. I think the name changed to something else, but there were hotels being built nearby too.

The rich white girls on vacation are usually open. I got drunk and smashed this Newfie school teacher on the beach. Still have sand in my jeans.

Planning to go there soon, prolly this year. I'm gonna take some sailing classes, then I'm gonna rent a boat and sail there from the Keys. Probably spend like 3-4 days in Havana. Gonna be free balling it on a boat rocking loafers and a captains hat. shyt's gonna be so piff breh
