I used to think Bermuda was a lot further south. It's basically off the coast of the Carolinas.
Had a friend go there one year in January for vacation and had to wear sweaters the entire time

It still gets hot as fukk there though. Hotter than the Carolinas for sure. You may need a sweater in the winter but never a coat.

Hard for me to say. The economy is strong there on paper. But my vantage point has been from my cousins who are doing about as good as the average black men in any American hood.

There's no sales tax but prices are high. Housing prices in particular is ridiculously high. I can work there as soon as I get off the plane if I wanted on account of my mom being from there so it's my escape route in case of emergency. There's a lot of fake "headquarters" for multi-national corporations which are just basically storefronts they use to dodge taxes.

Other than that it's pretty much clear blue water beaches, loud reggae blasting, and fine chicks with hazel eyes wherever you go.

Bermuda is only 1:45 flight from Newark airport.

It's expensive though, resorts and food. You have to go into the actual neighborhoods for the real experience.
