like Hvac or pumbing ect... thinking about doing an Hvac Apprenticeship. is it worth it?

Id say its worth it mayne. I got a couple of uncles that are welders and they are 
good. Idk how the current oil situation is going to effect that though.

I honestly think that those trades are great for transitioning into business ownership....

I'm a welder...well I was don't really do it for work anymore.
A trade always offers a decent solid job and don't let anybody tell you different.
Yes it doesn't have the glory, but what it have is a decent days work, with decent pay. You can work for yourself or build a little company. You can do it on the side and have a different main job. To top it all off, the demand for that will always be there.
