I think it could be a good concept, especially with all the negativity we’re exposed to in the media, but it seems a little feminine and like doing arts and crafts.

Anyone have one, and is it effective?

:ld:
I have a vision board in my mind and journal. No pictures, just statements. Like, I will finish my degree (and I did), I will make X amount of money (and I did), I will figure out what is going on existentially (and I did).

I put the statements as a calendar alert on my phone. Every day at 2pm I get the alert. It makes me think about my goals everyday.

if you don’t think about your goals every day, you’re not going to be able to figure out how to achieve those goals :ehh:

I don't but I occasionally make lists of shyt I want to accomplish, do, or learn. Most of the time it is a mental list but I physically write one out every couple of months.

I guess you could call it a vision board.

When I was a teenager I drew a picture of how I wanted my body to look with workouts for 5-7 days a week.

Man, I did that shyt one time and don’t think I ever did it again.

:russ:

Then like a year or two later I got this workout magazine that has a 12 week workout and I actually did 10, took a week break and did the last 2.

I was so proud of myself

I just write everything down in terms of planning. I find it easier to fill i details with text

If I doing something creative I'll make a storyboard

I dont think I've made a vision board before though

Back in like 2009, I was training to run my first marathon and joined a black running club. One of the things they wanted us to do was create a vision board. I still have it.

I have a few prayers on it, for instance, the prayer of Solomon, which is a prayer that ask not of material things, but of wisdom. I got things on it to help remind me to stay humble and that my goal isn’t to chase after material things.

I need to pull it out and take a look at it again because I’ve seem to have gotten away from those things, tbh.
