I’m 27 but I still want to have a sprint of around 11 or lower seconds well into my 30s. Any older brehs still achieve this

Jump rope is great during winter months for me(do it inside on a mat at home) shyt fortifies your ankles and is great cardio to make up for not running.I'm not a runner
More of a jump rope guy
Thinking about maybe starting running
That last part is a heavy fact. I essentially tried sprinting the other day for the first time since before the pandemic, and not only was I way slower than I expected, I damn near pulled my hamstring.Great thread. I still run:
-sprints uphill 50 yard
-200 meter sprints
-trail run along bay Area elevated hikes
-Long distance steady state maybe one or twice every couple weeks
I try to hit every mode of running to be prepared for anything.
Sprints are important because you try and break out in a sprint without training and you will pull, tear, twist some shyt if you aren’t ready.
