It can’t be too hard, I’ve read books by homeless people who wrote their book when they were actually homeless and got it published

It’s 2020. You fund and publish it yourself.

How much do you plan on spending to create this book?

this is a good idea though. Especially now when people are staying home instead eating out. We have a whole generation of people who can’t cook.

To be honest I dont even know where to start as far as budgeting and publishing goes. Thats why I'm reaching out.

I want men to be my target audience. Sort of like Tariq did with his mack lessons book, but instead my cookbook would be based on winning the woman you over with great cooking.:shaq::takedat::jawalrus::jbhmm:

Knew a breh that published his own books. Dude told me he would make anywhere from 150-700 off em and he was just a regular cat

it’s pretty easy, and you shouldn’t need that much money

the Amazon route is a good suggestion. You can do an ebook, or you can do print on demand. That’ll save you money, as you won’t have to print a bunch of books before you’ve sold any. They’re gonna take a decent cut out of your profits though.

You can also set up your own website through Shopify or squarespace and have people buy it from there. You’ll get to keep all the money for yourself.

Me personally, I’d start off making YouTube and instagram videos of your cooking. Build a following there, so that when your book is ready you’ll have people who’ll already be interested in it.

As for financing it, you can try the crowd funding thing. You can also link up with a photographer and offer to let them invest in it with you. You’re definitely gonna need good photos.

another way to fund it would be to sell dinner plates every weekend for people to pick up, or get a friend to help deliver them. If you have local friends on social media, you’ll definitely make money.
