I mean we all know how much crap is done to our daily food and how real racial stuff is getting, so I ask, has anyone ever considered making a small garden to at least be able to survive if things ever got "real" or even just to be "healthier" in general?

Seeds are cheap, and I've seen stuff online where you can plant some stuff indoors in plastic bins and all that, I was reading How to Eat To Live by Elijah Muhammad and while I don't follow everything he says he made some good points in the book. I`m probably going to lower my consumption of meats and increase veggies since they are so low in calorie I can consume much more and feel full all while it being far less calorie dense.

I started a garden in April. I used the square foot garden (below). Mine is 16 square feet with each square foot being its own plot. Lettuce, carrots, squash, cucumber, beets etc.. Since the garden is only 6 inches deep, the vegetables didn't grow too big and it took a lot longer to harvest. I am about to pull the beets up soon. Pulled a few cucumbers and squash already.

I need to put a fence up for my back yard before I go garden crazy so I was looking to do something in plastic bins on my deck, so I would assume I can only grow items that grow upwards. I`m also considering moving to a 1 meal a day type routine, I did it via the Intermittent Fasting eating window and lost 90 lbs, I bulked up though so I had to eat more meals a day for muscle gain. I`m trying to honestly get away from the Western diet and mentality towards food where things such as food sex and drugs dictate our lives.

You been watching Black Jesus? Got a craving for Spanish onions, breh?

I haven't had one of my own in quite some time but even then I wasn't growing food. But one of my mentors did have a rather large garden and I would help him and his wife out when they were out of town. It's actually pretty fulfilling but I don't have the space for it right now.

I've been seriously considering owning my own farm. Upstate New York has some of the best soil in the world.

We had an old wicker table that I put the garden on top of. I used a plywood bottom and drilled 4 small holes per sq/ft for draining. I planted petunias in the middle 4 spots so it wouldn't be an eye sore while I waited for the veggies to break the surface. Definitely recommend fencing off the yard, rabbits will be your worst nightmare. I'll try to up some photos tomorrow. We had carrots grow but they are about 3 inches due to the lack of depth in the garden. Squash and cucumber grew very well. Its crazy to see how real fruit/vegetables look as compared to those genetically modified ones in the stores. At first you look at yours like ":what: that's it? How did the ones in the stores get so big?" then you realize that the ones you grew are 100% natural. :blessed:
