I just started my fall/winter garden. Planted some broccoli and a few herbs. Gonna plant some cabbage and collards in late September or October. I'm going to try all organic. Hopefully insects won't kill most of my crop.
I've been using bloodmeal and that seems to keep the critters at bay. other than the neighbors cat, that overgrown rat loves taking siestas in the middle of my onion row.
We grow all kinda shyt. Lettuce, tomatoes, collards, turnips, cucumbers, squash, watermelon, strawberries, grapes. Got lemon and orange trees in the yard too.
Honestly even some of the seeds are tampered with. I'm going to start a garden though when I get home. I've been watching youtube videos on it, and I'm excited
I also found this little doohickey...
I'll be able to grow some herbs and things in the winter. Cooking with fresh herbs is always better!!
