I been working for one now for 3 months. GPS, fully remote. It's good and bad days, but 100% fun.

Salary is good and you pick up a lot of skills along the way and being pressured to learn new skills to better you.

Anyone have any experience or currently work at one?

I think 5 yrs is my max. Remote life is great but at the same time i work infrastructure and it's constant after hours/ weekend work/ getting off late

I always said if I got into one of the big4 I would have a plan to get out within 2-3 years for that exact reason. Those hours add up over time and eventually it feels like you never have personal time.

You can also easily get pigeon holed and stall your development out. 5 years is a good amount of experience though and you'll be effective af once you transition to industry

My plan is to get a role as a solutions architect or go thr azure route.
Yeah use the free training and free resources as I'm sure y'all got free udemy and ish. Also honestly, build a side project. I work in that exact field, master data management utilizing AWS + an open source data warehouse. I usually lean on experiences or past projects when hiring
